Right now, I'm really into wild and angry animals. Whenever I wear pieces like the ones above, I feel dangerous and edgy. It definitely makes you stand out in the crowd. I usually wear things like this when I'm going to a club or a party. I feel like it may be a little too much for day time.

Just a little update on my life...I'm interning in NYC this summer! I'll be living in one of NYU's dorms. I'm so excited. I've always dreamed of living in the city. Although it's not permanent, its still amazing. I originally wanted to be in LA for the summer, but I think everything worked out perfectly. I feel like the city will inspire me to blog more often. 

My Spring Break Wardrobe

So happy mid-terms are finally over! Now, it's time to relax for a week in South Florida for spring break. I know I'm from there, but Miami is different during spring break. There is so much more to do. Also, I'm planning to take a trip to Disney World. I haven't been there since I was 5 years old. So, I'm excited to see what has changed. But, I need to plan my wardrobe. I have to think about the beach, dinner, and clubbing.

Miu Miu Women's Tales: Ava DuVernay

I absolutely adore this short film! Ava DuVernay never ceases to amaze me. I became a huge fan of her work after I saw her film "Middle of Nowhere." She takes film to a deeper level. She actually inspired me to change my career path. I'm so happy to see her became even more successful. She deserves it. Seeing her partner up with Miu Miu is definitely unexpected, but a splendid surprise. I love the pieces in this film. It reminds of Japan. Very edgy and regal. 

Winter Blues

This is the first winter that I've felt the winter blues. The holidays and weather makes being single so evident and kind of depressing. That on top of the stress of preparing for studying abroad in the fall (I'M GOING TO LONDON!), securing an internship for the summer, and applying for more scholarships. My plate is pretty full right now, but I think I like it. If I wasn't doing anything, I would feel like a bum. I try to take full advantage of what life has to offer. I'm starting to get into music again. Right now I'm absolutely OBSESSED with Elijah Blake's EP, Bijoux 22 and Bruno Mar's new single "When I Was Your Man." If you're into very soulful and emotional music, you will love it!

Funny Fashion Campaign Ads

Lanvin and Alexander Wang decided to use the art of comedy to attract viewers to their Spring/Summer campaign ads. I love both of these videos and it definitely caught my attention. I was so happy to see Bon qui qui (Angela Johnson) again, she is hilarious! "I will cut you!" The use of comedy did not take away from the fashion of the campaign, I think it enhanced the designs and details and made it more clear what the designers were bringing to the table.
